As your Mayor of Croydon my Priorities are

Community Services & Empowerment
Deliver cleaner streets and improved public spaces through better waste management and invest in youth services, public health and social care to protect our most vulnerable residents.

Expand neighbourhood hubs for easy access to housing, mental health, employment and advice services across the borough.

Introduce citizens’ panels, participatory budgeting and digital platforms to ensure residents have a direct say in shaping local services.

Community Safety
Restore visible community policing by increasing Safer Neighbourhood Teams in priority areas.

Invest in early intervention, youth hubs, and mentorship programmes to address the root causes of crime and anti-social behaviour.

Improve street lighting, CCTV and community reporting systems to make every neighbourhood feel safer.

Housing Development
Accelerate the building of genuinely affordable homes, including key worker housing through strong partnerships with housing associations.

Improve existing social housing stock by securing renovation and maintenance funding to ensure safe, decent homes for all.

Support community-led housing models, such as Community Land Trusts, to empower local residents and meet real housing needs.

Economic Growth
Regenerate town centre, invest in sustainable local business practices, offer business rates relief, start-up grants, pop-up shop spaces and rent subsidies for businesses.

Launch a High Streets for All programme to transform empty spaces into vibrant community hubs, support local traders and attract footfall.

Establish a Medical School and promote skills training to future-proof the workforce.
